“ Pancakes are alright. But thanks for writing my full name! ”
“ Have dinner here back-to-back for 2 days. Great place with reasonable priced and fine quality food. Got cold plate and lamp hot-pot, we really enjoyed the food here. The waitress are happy and willing to help. This place is new, so the management could be a bit under-practice, but it would definitely improve overtime. ”
“ If you like authentic Chinese food this is the place. The food was made to order, hot, and delicious. They do a lot of to go orders. The family that runs it are very nice. Please give it a try you won’t be disappointed. My favorites were the mapo tofu. And the salad. Sooo good. ”
“ My family ate there yesterday after my munchkin's cross country race at Baylands park. So delish!!! We ordered the beef pies, chili oil beef, chive noodles and pork and egg porridge.. oh and dumplings. YUUUUMMM!!! (Sorry, no pic of porridge. We were hungry and that was the first item to come out! We were Ravenous!!) ”
“ I give this place a two thumbs up for their excellent food and service. The price is very reasonable. My friend and I ordered chive pancake (Jiu Cai He Zi) beef pancake, tomato scramble eggs and a beef dish. The flavor is very close to home made Chinese food. Overall the restaurant is clean with self service utenciles and hot water station. I read some reviews they made me chuckle, some people come to here and expect a Michelin star restaurant service. If you want fast, authentic Chinese food, you should give this place a try. ”
“ Authentic home-style northern Chinese food. It’s best if you go for the dishes that don’t require pan-frying, such as the buns, the pumpkin porridge, or the cabbage tofu stew. I chatted with the owner, she is very passionate about not using additives, and fresh small-batch oil everyday; her own grandchildren eat here. I have a sensitive stomach and this is indeed one of the only places I can constantly order from. Overall, this is a restaurant that preserves ingredients’ original flavors like your grandma’s kitchen. The atmosphere is likewise — nothing fancy. ”
“ The Beef and Pork Pies are my favorites. I also like the noodles, dumplings and the beef buns. Highly recommended! ”
“ I love the setup Ding's has going on: walk in for lunch and you can either grab a generous lunch plate from the steam table for less than 10 bucks, or have a sit-down meal for probably closer to 15. I came with two others, and while the steam table looked delicious, we decided to sit down. We ordered Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken, Stir-fried Pork with Tofu, Black Bean Fish, and Bok Choy (listed as Yu Choy) with black mushrooms. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked, especially the pork - it had that special smokey "wok hei" flavor you only get from proper restaurant stir-fry. After rice and tax it came out to about 60 bucks, but it was well worth it. ”
